1928 Cuban Bistro - Fernandina Beach

Good stuff. I've been back three times. The chicken and pork empanadas are fantastic. The coffee is really good. They are still figuring out the service as it has been spotty each time, but they fixed everything and have a good attitude about it. I will be going back.

Wonderful new addition!!! Met a friend for lunch on a busy brunch/lunch Sunday yet parking wasn’t an issue and food came out quickly. Coffee was good and my El Guajiro sandwich was delicious: juicy, flavorful and amazing bread. Yum! So many things on the menu to explore!

I found Colada down in Miami and absolutely loved it. Now there is a place in Fernandina that has it and it is fantastic! My buddy and I had lunch at 1928 Cuban Bistro and I am not even exaggerating that the Medianoche sandwich was the BEST sandwich I have ever eaten! My buddy had the Cuban and he was equally impressed. I highly recommend checking out 1928. It was clean, service with a smile and good atmosphere. I didn't try any of the items in the display case, but they looked delicious!

Atmosphere was clean and nice. Service was amazing and everyone super sweet. The food was outstanding and some of the best authentic Cuban we have had. This is a new regular for our house. Just a recommendation, need to get highchairs for children and changing tables in bathrooms for families with little ones but we know they're new and don't hold it against them!

Large and flavorful portions. Counter service was good however they need to get table numbers as yelling out names was not working well.
