We waited awhile to try this place after reading initial reviews. Either they have tweaked some of the recipes, or maybe some people just have taste receptors that are different…because this place has some really yummy and flavorful Mediterranean food. The opposite of bland. My husband said his gyro is just as good as the gyro at his favorite Greek restaurant from where we used to live, and he really enjoyed the Baba sauce that comes on it. And their falafel (I got mine with the spicy Baba sauce instead of tahini) is better than any I’ve had before. The people working here are nice, as well. We will certainly be adding this into our regular rotation of restaurants (along with Timoti’s, which I think is owned by the same people and is also awesome).
Delicious and fresh! Exceptional. Complex flavors in the Baba bowl. How could you go wrong with grilled feta? Unique and tasty Pita bread! Shawarma was delightful! Staff were helpful to describe options. Cozy dining inside and pleasant outdoor dining in Fernandina.
Happy to have stumbled on this place- we gave up our reservation at another "more popular" restaurant on the same street to eat here, and would gladly come here again as first choice!
The service was very friendly, and everyone in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying themselves.
The baba ganoush dip is great, def get it!
The braised lamb stew was amazing! It’s delicious and comforting. The Greek salad was also better than expected.
I've tried a couple different things now and I have enjoyed it each time. I absolutely love Mediterranean food and glad we have an option around here now. Can't wait to try the shawarma next time, had the falafel and that's always been my go to at these kinds of places. Worth a try.
