Drove by and noticed this new location of a restaurant I had been to a few years ago over on Amelia Island and decided to give it a try. Honestly it's the best southern food buffet I've had in a long time and I eat at a lot of southern food restaurants. I've only been there this one time so far but if it's any indication I will be going back regularly. I had the hamburger steak with rice , fried chicken, mac & cheese and green beans and there wasn't a bad mouthful of anything. Really really good food and a friendly staff.
Fried chicken is amazing! Many vegetable options, best collard greens Ive had in a long time. Service was great as well. They even have a pool table for the kiddos. Very fun experience!
I don't give many reviews. But this place deserved it. Excellent food, friendly staff, good prices. Don't let the "buffet" part turn you off. Every single item on the buffet was excellent. Literally, every single one. Try this place. It deserves 5 stars and your support
When reading reviews, it seems it's mixed. We went after church Sunday and noticed other "church crowd" there. On the buffet menu was fried chicken, ham and pork chops... no barbeque... In a barbeque place. I ordered off the menu. No sliced pork. I got the brisket. Lots of meat on the plate but it was smothered in sauce that was spicy and pickles. No mention of that on the menu. I had baked beans and fries as my two sides. Beans were ok and fries are, well... fries. My wife did the buffet and her fried chicken was good. Out the door with tip... $45. I understand that Fridays they feature fish and shrimp. But, I know a good place for that, so... Barbeque places should have barbeque.
Massive and delicious buffet. True southern homestyle food. Everything is fantastic. Mashed potatoes with that thick brown gravy. Amazing fried chicken. Probably my favorite green beans with ham of all time. Also tried some of the sausage and bacon grits today and those are a 10/10 dish. Highly recommend this spot.
