The Harbor Tavern

I was pleasantly surprised. From the outside it doesn't look much like the kind of place you would expect to get a great meal at but don't let the look fool you. The blackened Mahi sandwich is the BEST EVER! It was delicious and the fish melts in your mouth! The only thing I would change about it would be to put it on a better quality bakery bun. My wife said her burger was excellent. Service was also great.

Out of state for the week. And this is the ONLY place where we have had food that was worth getting excited over.

We have been to the Surf Hut, Crab Trap, and the Whale Tale. On the beach.....

Nothing compares to the atmosphere, service and food. Prices are great also.

If you dont come here... you are simply wasting your money.

Service for lunch was good. Granted there was 6 people in the entire joint. The food quality was good but the quantity was sub-par. The blackened shrimp pita was about 1/2 a dozen shrimp too light of being a good wrap. Good concept but needs some improvements.

Came to this place with a group of friends who Love this place and it did not disappoint!! The peel and eat shrimp were seasoned and delicious. And ireally enjoyed the shrimp pita wrap and the wings! Great vibe, not too busy and indoor/open air seating!! My boyfriend is good blogger (@foodboytroy) and he loves this place!! The even gave him a hat to show their appreciation!

My group really enjoyed our dinner tonight. We've been to Destin a few times now and look for little local restaurants while we're here. This was definitely a good find! The menu isn't huge but I had the Southern burger and it was delicious. We were able to be immediately seated and everyone was so friendly! We will be back in the future
