“We visited twice during our trip to fort Walton beach, and both times were a delight. The menu is eclectic and reasonably priced. As a mushroom coffee drinker, I appreciated that they have mushrooms on the menu to add to your drink. I actually ordered a unique combination of things into a summery coffee drink that’s my go-to in the summer, and the barista, Cole, was incredibly accommodating and friendly when I ordered my wonky drink both times. He provided excellent service, and we just overall really loved this place for so many reasons. The fact they support the local artist community even furthers our love for them. “ALWAYS GOOD FOOD!! They make your burger or what ever it is just the way you like it!! I have to also say that I have never gotten a messed up order from them. Staff is always sweet and polite to deal with. The only down fall is that they do not accept Apple Pay or any tap to pay. My son and I ate there yesterday and paid $14 and some change. He got a bacon cheeseburger and I got a hamburger, both made to order and two orders of tater tots which are also always good! And just a tip.....if the line is long and only one side is open, pull up to the cone on the left side and walk up to window. The car I would've been behind yesterday had only moved one spot.”

“Visiting from Illinois and came across Chef Champion on Spring Break. Customer service from Chef and his daughter was a 10/10 experience. Both were extremely kind and welcoming. Food was amazing, I got the alfredo pasta and added jerk chicken. The food was so good I had to go back a second time before I left to get it again. We waited about 30 minutes each time but the food was hot and fresh and I would wait even longer to eat his food. Overall, I would recommend this place a million times!”

“Food was ASTRONOMICAL!!!.. Their pulled pork sandwiches were HuGe & moist and juicy not dry and hard like most places we eat at... My wife loves pulled pork and as for me not a big fan...but after today, I am a fan NOW...And the Ribs .. 😱... The Best around guaranteed!!...better than Applebee's..... And the price is on point.. They also had cold can soda pops... Not warm or barely cold .. but refreshing!!! No fountain machines where you have to worry about being cleaned or not.. no flies flying around while we eat like most places outside.... You NEED to come down and try this place... Way BETTER than a restaurant!!!!... really clean environment in and out... So if you are looking for an awesome place to go out to eat... I highly recommend it... You will NEVER REGRET IT! I know we are DEFINITELY coming back! Oh and you got to try the inhouse sauce. The best 3 BBQ SAUCE EVER!! REALLY FRIENDLY PEOPLE!! THEY CAN TALK THE TALK AND WALK THE WALK!!”

“Slow Wake is located in Wyndham Garden as soon as you walk into the lobby, it's easy to find so please don't let it being in the hotel deter you from coming and checking this place out. We were on vacation from Tennessee and made this our morning breakfast stop for the time we were in the area. Tiffany was our server and she was great! She had wonderful coffee and food suggestions and both lived up to the expectations she set. We will definitely be coming back for breakfast while in the area. I had an apple cinnamon donut paired with a coffee and could not of had a better morning if I tried. For a donut, cinnamon roll, and two Irish coffees we paid less than $20 in total so I would say $1 - $10 dollars per person is an accurate estimate on pricing. While I got the donuts they also have breakfast bowls, sandwiches, and burritos as well as coffee, boozy coffee, and mimosas options. There are options for everyone, plenty of seating, and lovely decor! Overall a great atmosphere and place to start your day. 🍩☕🫶🏻🥂”

“Cool interior. When we were there, it wasn't packed, but business was continous. Great pizza! The wings were good, but the size of the wings were small. Not sure if this size is normal. If so, I'd recommend ordering a bigger portion. The staff came by regularly to pick up the dirty dishes. The manager gave us a big smile while checking on us. That was nice! I'd recommend this place.”
