It is not a chain. Ask for outside cut and they know what you asked for. Do be careful, if you ask for chopped you will get what is chipped to very fine dust like texture good if you do not want any texture or for young children. Their sliced is what others call chopped. Jim and Nicks is their only competitor which is 15 miles away for take-out only. Their sides are good and I like their mustard based sauce. Service is great and you get a picture of tea when ordered for you can refill your own drink. I travel around different places and this place beats other hands down for BBQ. Roll down your window as you drive by and will smell their open pit in use; that you can see the meats in the pit where you food will come from. They do not offer pulled pork. 15FEB21

Went because of Trip Advisor ratings. Was not impressed. My chicken was not freshly cooked and the ribs were on the dry side. The fries were good and the cashier was very nice, that is why I gave 4 stars.

Food was delicious and fast. Tried the sliced port dinner with beans fries. The beans were perfect and had that smokey sweet homemade flavor. The fries were fresh and crisp.

The pork was perfectly cooked with so much flavor. I had to tell myself to slow down and enjoy chewing it to make the flavor last. I was also given the sweet bbq and hot bbq. Both excellent flavors and I ended up using both and mixing them.

They had what looked like a grill right there in the main area so you could see meat cooking and smell that delicious smoke. I would recommend this BBQ spot to anyone who wants quick tasty bite to eat. I will be back with friends!
