Sonny's BBQ

Lovely place. It was very busy however our server was able to efficiently get us our sampler! It tasted very good. The portions are a bit large for two people, but we are a bit petite. Loved it :)

What an incredible restaurant. In honor of National BBQ month they had $6.99 AYCE chicken. Perfect!! Staff is so friendly. My server Priscilla was top notch and a huge asset to this restaurant. You never want for anything here. Manager Cheryl constantly circulating the dining room checking on food quality and service.

We like Sonny's. My hubby likes the way it used to be with the down home country feel,, but they changed the atmosphere to be more industrial and modern. The food is always amazing especially the baby back ribs. Can't go wrong there. Great BBQ!!

In Orlando because my Mom comes to the Cancer Center here. She wanted Sonny's which I'm always happy when she eats. Went to Sonny's which was close to our hotel & ordered us food. Got back to the Hotel & realized their was a problem with our food. I called back & spoke to the manager Frank who was very pleasant & apologized for the mix up. He corrected the order without hesitation. Thank you, Frank for your professionalism & very pleasant attitude. May Jehovah continue to bless you & your family.

So far, I have not had a bad experience. I been going to the restaurant for about 6 years. I usually go through the drive through, eat outside, or sit at the small bar unless I am accompanied by friends. Food is good.. My normal selection is pulled pork on garlic-toasted bread, a vegetable or baked sweet potato, unsweetened tea or beer. I had the chicken a few times.... but prefer the pulled pork. I do not eat from the salad bar and have an issue with ALL open bars at any restaurant. The salad bar is clean. I just don't like the concept of utensils and food being easily available to everyone. My brain keep wondering whether or not all the customers hands are clean or whether or not they have a cold or something. The restaurant is rated a 4 star because the bathrooms are not consistent each time I visit. I have not paid attention whether it is a shift issue, day issue, or just establishment issue.
