Cabana Bar and Beach Club

Rarely do I write reviews ... but the manager of this poolside restaurant and bar went out of his way to apologize and compensate for the less than stellar service of a waitress. She wasn’t even that bad , just stressed and rushed and spilled my wine and I decided not to stay. I as willing to pay for my wine and I didn’t even complain at all, just asked for my check so I could go somewhere else on the property instead. The manager came out and wouldn’t let me pay. He was super nice.

I have eaten here twice in the last week while here for two conferences in a row.
The food is good, the cocktails are better but wow- the manager went over and above what I would have ever expected . He even sent chocolates and a personalized note to my room!

Stopped in for lunch and glad we did. Tuna Poke and the Fish Tacos were both delicious, as was the Sangria drink. Modern atmosphere is very nicely done, and the staff are friendly and attentive.

Fired Calamari was good. The location is good for a having drinks. The cabanas themselves are really good except I didn’t understand the placement of them. If you’re sitting in one of them I expected a better view rather than just other seats and tables with trees blocking the pool. And don’t get why they close at 8pm. Staff was really friendly.
