Bar 5 Lounge and Grill

My first time at Bar 5 was greeted by Davina. She was very professional and accommodating. I was able to meet one of the owners, he was very nice and personable. The food and drinks were delicious. The bartenders and the music were on point. Will definitely be back.

It's definitely a grown and sexy vibe to it. The staff is very accommodating and welcoming. The food is decent but I did go extremely late and got the last of what was left that evening. I believe pricing is fair. I did have some drinks which were delicious! Most definitely will visit again with some girlfriends.

Very clean(even the bathroom) great music and atmosphere. The food was phenomenal as well as the drinks. The frozen mango daiquiri with the rum is delicious. I also had the smothered turkey wings with with the yams and Mac & cheese and it was all seasoned well, hot and served in a timely manner. This place is definitely worth the visit.

It was not as good as the other reviews led us to believe or as good as Mike told us it was. The pluses we're service, ambiance, and decor.

The bar certainly hit the mark with taste. We thank Jennifer for making the fried mushrooms right for our friends who lost their dad and sharing the fried okra with us.

We loved the fried pork chop. Can't wait to try it smothered and the smothered turkey.

Where the stars are lost is in the owner's claim in the description. You can't be the finest or great quality serving frozen mushrooms that are deep fried. If this was a national chain I might be able to excuse it. Frozen is more for places that are expected to use food service and commodity based deals.

Guess my issue is my friend Rob is a chef trained by the CIA (Culinary Institute of America). Fried mushrooms at our house and his are fresh then battered and fried. You won't bite into undercooked frozen one...EVER!

The flatbread had a funky taste. Also, it feels lower quality than places we are accustomed to with pictures like you see in the reviews. Hoping it was just one time fluke.

Looking at previous reviews and menus shows the menu does stay moving. In other words it is updated frequently. Hard to have a favorite dish with a moving target.

The round tables are good for two but four...uh keep those elbows in and phones on the floor(?).

Still like it over all. Just not what I feel the owner claims it is or should be. At least not yet. Show them some love and come on in. Post your review on it.
