Denny's

Our waitress was training somebody and I understand that cuz I'm in the industry to. but when your friends come into a restaurant, you still wait on people in order or not stop waiting on the table I got there first and start taking care of your friends. The trainee tried to take our order and she made her stop and go to the table beside us and takes theirs first even though they got there about 10 minutes after we did. But the food was great, it was hot and we got it pretty quick.

The service was quick. They set us quickly so we didn't have to wait long.
The waitress was nice and friendly. Took our order and we received what we ordered.
The food was delicious and hot. There was a lot to choose from.

Good food. Courteous, friendly service. Had a new 55+ menu item. It was broiled haddock with herb sauce had it with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was delicious! I am a new fan of this Denny's will be going back.

I have this running theory that no one actually chooses to go to Denny's, rather Denny's is a place you end up. That being said, I'm happy we ended up there. We arrived after a crazy long day, and our car was broken down 6+hours from home, and we planned to wait there upwards of 6 hours for someone to come help us. The staff was incredibly understanding and did their best to help us feel comfortable and safe while we waited for help. This one was clean, the food was good, and again, I can't say enough about how good the staff was.
