Such an amazing place!!! Incredible food and hospitality. Not to be missed. Better than 4 Rivers and I've been a fan there for a long time. The gospel grits and the blue cheese cole slaw are incredible! As is their meats and sauces. Don't miss this place!!!

Whoa!!! Seriously caught completely off guard at how rediculously good everything I ate here. Everyone is amazingly friendly. Even met Ellie Lou!! I recommend getting every side they offer... So good. Seriously the coleslaw is the best I've ever had.

Very clean. great atmosphere and the people are extremely friendly. I had the pulled pork and brisket along with the fried green tomatoes and cheddar grits and everything was absolutely wonderful. The owner came out and talked to us for quite a bit of time and he is an extremely nice person as well. I highly recommend this place if you want some great barbecue

Love Ellie Lou's! I ordered a Turkey Cobb salad with blue cheese dressing on the side the first time here. Liked it so well that I've gotten it every time since, too.

I usually share some of the excellent turkey with Mike since he will get brisket or ribs. But this time he decided to try a turkey sandwich. And he loved it.

There's just no better place we've found for moist, tasty turkey. The sweet tea, fries and fried okra are dang good, too.

We'll be back!

Hands down, the best brisket I've had in the area. It's tender and flavorful. Their sauces are delicious. I like the Kansas City Sweet the best, but the Carolina Golden is also yummy. Their hand cut fries are cooked to crisp perfection on the outside, but are still soft on the inside. Definitely worth a visit!
