Negril Restaurant

Loved the meat. Loved the rice. Was our first time in here and the people at the counter were quite friendly to help us out with understanding the menu.
We tried the Curry goat. Curry chicken and beef with oxtail. They serve it with either brownrice+peas or white rice and you can add the sides to your filling meal. Definitely worth the money.

Good authentic Jamaican cuisine, however parking is extremely limited. If you’re stopping by I’d highly advise to come by before the lunch rush. In addition to limited parking there is limited space within the restaurant (Four tables). Despite my visit occurred during a rush I received my order in a timely manner.

Since relocating from Miami 4 months ago, I have been looking for a good Jamaican restaurant that cooks close to real authentic Jamaican food. I found Negril and today was my first time eating there with my wife. The food was good and filling just like being back home from yard. Whenever my family come into town Negril Restaurant will be the spot.

If you are in the mood for traditional Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine, this is one of several choices in Orlando. Each has a different specialty, so comparing them is futile. Negril does a good job with several dishes including chicken and goat curries, oxtail and meat stews. Jerk chicken was disappointing. Portions are generous and service is quick and friendly. Again a big convenience for those in the area looking for Jamaican food.
