Nessas Food Co Barbecue Restaurant

Been looking for a chance to swing back through here on a day off ever since trying Nessas. Great BBQ. After noticing the new ownership was still kicking out Que, I decided to give it a go. Got a rib plate and wow, really-really good all around. The ribs were well smoked, which I love. Nice bark on the outside and juicy on the inside. Seasoned perfectly. Sides were delicious as well. Nice to see this old building is still pumping out some great food. If you like your BBQ nice and smokey, don't sleep on this place, give it a try. Grab a plate and walk the block or so over to the Starke Lake and just enjoy living life! lol

I've heard pretty good things so I decided to stop in and give it a try. I ordered the two meat two sides special, and got ribs, pulled pork, collards and okra.
It was delicious and the portions were crazy. Nessa took me to the back and we talked whe looking at the smoker. Great little place to eat..

We stopped by this afternoon to pick up pulled pork sandwiches. So good. The coleslaw and potato salad was awesome and loved the pickles. Everything had that home made taste!!!

Went there today for lunch. Ordered the rib lunch. Asked about cornbread as a side. Its normally not a side but let me have it as side anyways. I tell you. It should definitely be on the menu as a side. Fluffy and delicious. Id order a 1/2 dozen of these if I could. The ribs were smoked and good. Reminds me of our backyard ribs in NC. Will definitely come again

Ok I'm giving them a 5 because of 1 thing and 1 thing only, the mac and cheese. It seems to be baked and authentic. I haven't had anyone serve baked mac in cheese commercially and I commend them for that. Usually you get the kfc like cheese sauce and noodles...yuck. Ribs were also good, I just wished they had more meat on them, but I know that's the cut you get sometimes. I will say though, for $14 I got mac and cheese, collards, and like 10 ribs which is alot. So not like I felt cheated in anyway with the amount of food I got. My container was heavy af. I noticed it when I carried It out. Good place
