I’ve been eating here for 3 years and honestly it’s the best Trinidadian cuisine in CFL. I’ve been here for over 30 years and seen restaurant come and go and this by far is the best one. I see comments on here that is simply not true. I am in no way related or associated with the owners. I am just a customer who patronize this restaurant because the food is excellent and they are consistent. I do know that they need help, sometimes it’s just the owner and his wife preparing all the food in the morning. Some people just need to chill out a bit and not write condescending comments.
They over charge. They were supposed to make the adjustment second time around, but didn't and over charged again. And I am pretty sure of that. But the food is good. I only took veg the first time around and added a piece of fish, during the second go.
I drive from Tampa to Orlando just to eat here. It is so hard to find decent roti and they are as close to home (Trinidad) as I could find. The food, music and staff is great. The doubles are good too, have not tried the other food yet but hubby says its good as well.
My best friend took me here last week during my visit to Orlando. The owner and his wife made me feel very welcomed during my first visit here. The atmosphere was welcoming and it's a pretty nice spot to have lunch, dinner and even get a drink at the bar. The food was very delicious. I had 2 doubles and an aloo pie. It was very flavorful and I had the tamarind and pepper sauce added to them (sweet heat). That cup of homemade sorrel was needed to was all that goodness down. The food was soo good, I bought some to take with me on my trip back to Augusta. Annie's Roti Shop & Bar is definitely on my list to visit when I come back to Orlando.
