Bloodhound Brew

Went to first Friday for the first time. Some bar keeps are better than others. Smiling will go a looong way for a nice tip! Found a particular blond who actually cared and helped me out with a smile.

Anyhow, the wings where good and who the hell serves beer in a damn plastic cup! That’s the reason for the three stars. I specifically asked for a glass and was told that they didn’t have enough cups. Full disclosure! I got to First Friday at 7:00 before the crowd and saw PLENTY of people who had glasses-what gives.

So, recap. The food was good, service iffy except when I found someone who actually smiled and helped. I will add that the service did get better as the night wore on. Still twisted about drinking beer out of plastic cups. I wasn’t on a picnic! I may decide to try this place off First Friday and see what happens.

I went here with a Groupon and sat outside, it was as always hot since it's Florida. Over server was cool and answered all of our questions. Very friendly. I had this spicy peach Martini to start. My friend had wings and we shared a bucket of beers. Very reasonable even with the Groupon. The fried broccoli was great!!

I'll be back for the shrimp and grits . You have to try a bloodhound Burger! You wouldn't think it would work, but it sure does. Great place, very local. A find in Orlando. Some really good brews and a diverse clientele and staff. Fish options too. Forget the big chains and come here. Family owned.

This place was awesome! I just got home and HAD to write a review. It was me and my husbands wedding anniversary today and we could not have picked a more fun and lively place! The service was wonderful, anything we needed we were accommodated with. The music was great, and the food...oh my. WONDERFUL. I had pulled beef tacos and hubby had hangover burger, with pulled pork nachos for a app..wonderful! the drinks were amazing and made perfectly, and when I mentioned that it was our anniversary, they hooked us up with a yummy piece of cake and wrote happy anniversary with strawberry sauce! Couldn't have had a better day, than you so much guys!!!

Food was excellent. We arrived prior to the kitchen actually being open and the staff was great. Good selection of taps, just glad we had s coupon
