It feels good to have a local bar with great service and food! We had an amazing time celebrating a family members birthday while sitting at the bar. Our bartender “Lola” was FANTASTIC! Our food was good and our drinks were delicious! We will definitely make this a regular place.
Very much enjoyed. Will definitely make this a frequent choice. Reasonable prices, good selections. Our server Dillon was exceptional. Will be back & recommend to others.
Very exciting new stop. Great ambience, service good on both occasions I went. Good excellent and priced competitively. This will be my new frequented hangout in Dr Phillips. Highly recommended. Oh and not scimpy on the alcohol. Happy hour is superb.
Visited on Fri I believe. Service treated us so kindly. The place has an awesome atmosphere. I see why this place has a lot of great reviews.
Burntwood Tavern is a “new to market” restaurant that seems to teeter in an odd point between “casual” and “slightly upscale” and it seems to work! We visited for brunch on a Saturday and while we want to come back for some of their normal offerings, the brunch items were great on their own!
First of all, I really like the decor of the restaurant. It’s kinda hard to describe but it’s a mix between homemade metal objects and modern. It’s a bit odd but it’s interesting and seems to work. They have a nice big patio with roll up doors to the inside which I’m sure they will get a ton of use from 3 months out of the year. They also have a large bar area and plenty of comfortable booths.
Service was good, friendly and attentive. We waited a bit long for food for a restaurant that was quite empty, but I know brunch always throws off kitchens a bit. Speaking of food, it was great! I loved the western omelette I had. It was perfectly done with tons of toppings and good breakfast potatoes and a nice fruit cup. My dining partner had the breakfast pizza which was awesome! More of a crisp bread pizza it had a ton of flavor and was a really good sized portion. We also tried the blueberry pancakes which were the only big bummer. Super generic and flavorless compared to the rest of the food.
Only negatives were incredibly watered down and weak iced tea and while the restrooms were clean you could tell some fixtures hadn’t been replaced from the old restaurant, the toilet handles and pipes were rusty, etc.
Overall it was great and I can’t wait to return!
