From the first moment you enter that place team give you a great feeling. Very courteous crew, it is a happy restaurant to pass time with friends or with your date. delightful cooking, qualified chef de cuisine, honest price and generous service. Highly recommended.
The food here when it was open was really good and the closes I could find to good Indian food since living in Florida. However, the restaurant has been closed for several months now and still closed. The had a letter in the door explaining it was due to family matters. However, it looks like they are revamping the restaurant a bit to hopefully reopen soon. Would’ve gave it 5 stars but they’ve been closed for too long. And I’m not sure if they are just revamping the design of everything or if new owners took over. Wish the young ladies that ran the restaurant well and hope to see the restaurant open back up soon!
This restaurant was good for the short time during which it was open. It was also the only Indian restaurant within 6 miles. However, it has been closed for months. Their phone line is disconnected. I placed an order online during their stated working hours and when I went to pick it up, the restaurant was closed and with lights off. The order was also refunded by Menufy 1 minute after it was placed.
Update: Kathi Rolls Indian restaurant is now in the same space.
We ordered take out last night for a quick dinner. The food was reallyyyy good! We are so happy to have this restaurant near our home. We would definitely order again. Everything was very tasty !
Amazing food! The boyfriend and I ordered the lamb curry, chicken korma, and samosas. Everything was so tasty. The lamb curry and chicken korma were very spicy but full of flavor. The samosas were flaky, very well filled, and the sauce was a perfect pairing. I see people complaining about the portion sizes but I thought it was the same if not a little bit more than the typical Indian restaurant.
The two young ladies working were very sweet and helpful with ordering. One of them came out and explained how these were their grandparents recipes and that’s why the dishes might a little bit different from the Indian food people are used to. Different but delicious in my opinion.
We used to drive out to UCF or winter park to get Indian food. That definitely won’t be necessary anymore.
