This place is definitely a solid 10 hangout for me and some work buds. Unlike my friends, I don't eat burgers so Freddy's never disappoints with others options like the veggie burger or the cod fish, which comes with the option of bun or no bun. I am digging the thin cut fries, not bad and Freddy's also features their own personal condiments like sauces and seasonings. How dope is that. Now my favorite part about this place is the ice cream. It's like heaven in a cup or a bowl or a cone, whatever you prefer. They serve it 2 ways when it comes to texture. It's a delightful treat. I highly recommend this place for your family and friends.
I was on the 21 Day Daniel's Fast with my congregation. My son turned 4 while we were fasting. We took him to Chucky Cheese's for a good time and we wanted to go out for dinner. Well we decided to go to Freddy's for because I was craving some shoestring fries. I knew I'd be safe and compliant eating potatoes. Well, imagine my surprise when I found out that Freddy's has a veggie burger in a lettuce wrap. We were in heaven. It was absolutely wondrous!!!!
Steak burger was pretty good, single Patty is a bit thin. Chicago dog was delicious, as were the fries and fry sauce. Wife has a chili cheese dog that was huge and very good, as were the onion rings. Last but definitely not least, the two scoops of Frozen Custard, one chocolate one vanilla, were amazing. They were great tasting, great consistency, and large in size. First time eating here but it definitely won't be the last!
Everything was delicious. Staff was friendly. Food was fresh. Great burger spot, yummy fries, try the cheese curd (may have name wrong) all of it was yummy! Don't skip dessert. The mini isn't very mini if you ask me. It's a nice personal serving!
We arrived in Orlando late in the evening, (around 10 p.m.)feeling a bit peckish and decided on some Steak Burgers. Other restaurants were beginning to close, but Freddy's was open to 11pm.
I was taken aback and really enjoyed the burgers, thin pressed and lightly seasoned with their house seasoning, which they sell, so you may take home if you'd like. Onion Rings and Fries, you can't go wrong. I highly recommend dipping in their house sauce. They also have a jalapeno sauce if you want that slight kick. Grilled Chicken Sandwich is good as well.
We also ordered their famous Frozen Custard, Hawaiian Delight and Vanilla with Strawberries. Amazingly smooth and creamy! Definitely a MUST TRY! They offer other flavors and toppings, so you may choose and create your own.
The ambience is like a modern, old school diner, and various pictures of the founder and tid-bit information of his life and history of the business. Very pleasant and clean establishment.
We will make Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steak Burgers a must-do next time we are in the area. Great Experience!
