Triple Burger was awesome. Waffle fries are seasoned and perfect and add an icecream sundae to an entree for 3.29. If you are going to splurge on calories THIS is the place. Was going to try their famous mac and cheese but they ran out.
Friendly's is a bit of nostalgia wrapped in a deep friend and generic exterior. Certain areas of the country grew up going to a Friendly's after school events, ball games, etc. Ice cream here was a treat when you were a kid! Well, the chain has shuttered many of their locations, but this one on International drive remains. It's basically the lunch/dinner menu of a Denny's type restaurant with a great ice cream menu.
Everything you will try will be fine, but high calorie and forgettable. Prices are good and a service is also good for thr type of restaurant you are in. It's pretty clean and is very family friendly. If you have never been before, it might be worth trying a big sundae after eating somewhere else!
Love Friendly's! Food is very fresh and super yummy! Service is very good! I wish I could go there more often
We ate here last night for the first time around 9:30 PM. Had no idea what to expect. Place was clean, minus one straw wrapper on the floor that had recently been dropped. We were one of only three groups in the restaurant. We were seated immediately, but I will say that the woman that sat us didn't really have the best attitude. I won't take away for that though, she wasn't our server. I had the BBQ Burger with onion straws, and it beat Red Robin's Whiskey River burger by FAR. It was delicious. Absolutely fantastic. The onion rings were huge and tasty too. My husband and oldest child had the Buffalo mac and cheese which was incredible, youngest had chicken tenders. All the food was very, very good. Probably the best ranch dressing dipping sauce I've tasted as well. We were very impressed with the food. The ice cream was great as well. Only small complaint was how long it took our waitress to come back to our table towards the end of our meal. At one point I almost had to get up and go ask for her. Seeing as we, at the time, were the only family in the entire place that shouldn't have happened. Over all, great rating for the good food and fair prices.
This is a really nice spot to go with the whole family. We've been coming here for 10 years now and have always enjoyed good food and friendly service. On this particular occasion we stopped for dinner because my child wanted french fries and ice cream. They ordered the fries with cheese and got a cookie dough sundae. I ordered the Honey BBQ burger with a side of coleslaw. The burger was fantastic if a little messy. The joy of good BBQ sauce. The slaw was a bit different, if maybe with a bit too much vinegar. It was not bad and I did finish it. Our server was Stephanie who we have had before. She was friendly and attentive and made our meal a pleasant experience.
This is a great place to come to just have ice cream but I always get regular food. You can also get ice cream packed to go which is just pure indulgence. They are popular for travelers which is how we first found this location but now that we live here it is nice to stop in on occasion for a quiet meal and dessert.
