Gator's Dockside

Haven't been to a Gators for while for no reason other than it's a hike from where we live. Showed for all you can weather wrong night which is a great deal. Super impressed with the chili lime dry rub, was fantastic, reminded me of the Mexican seasoning Tajin. The second hottest sauce on the menu is not hot due to them reworking the recipe but man is it flavorful. The suicide sauce is a slow build punch in the face of habanero spiciness. I recommend getting a side of that and supplementing other flavors with that heat.

The food and service is outstanding every time my family and I go. The wings are delicious. I like to put their garlic parmesan wing sauce on my fries. Can't go wrong!

Weird Taxidermy Gator great food. Spacious restaurant, nice staff. The food is decently priced and they have a pretty good selection of Southern and diner classics. I would give it 4 and 1/2 Stars if I could.

Went for the wing special on Wednesday (all you can eat boneless wings and fries) - between the two of us, we got to try 6 wing sauce flavors. The server was friendly and the food was okay - good for the price but nothing special, flavor wise.

Our first visit here 4/3/19 about 10:15 pm. Luckily we had just missed a packed, raucous restaurant. Apparently Wed. is all you can eat boneless wing night! Our food was absolutely delicious. So much so, that we sent compliments to the kitchen staff. My husband had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and I had the grilled chicken breast with broccoli and mashed potatoes and gravy. The real reason we will return is the outstanding service we received from our server David. He provided a level of service and guest care you would expect in a fine , high end restaurant. We were truly impressed. David your skills set, attention to detail and amazing personality are being wasted. You would make an amazing manager at a fine restaurant, making sure all servers learn how it should be done...the way you do it! No shade thrown on Gator's Dockside at all. We'll definitely be back and recommend to friends. It's just that when you receive such exceptional care as a guest it should be applauded.
