Serves authentic German baked goods and sandwiches. I am from Germany and this place offers a taste of home. I wish I had found it sooner.
Beautiful pastries! Everything that is supposed to be flaky is flaky. The display is super cute. I didn't get to try the breads, but I wanted to as they were just beautiful. It's a tiny shop with a wonderful selection. The staff packaged the items we purchased very prettily, and even gave the babies a couple free cookies. If I lived here, I would go back every week in order to try everything.
Nice little surprise. German food is not usually my first choice but the shop looked cute so I ventured in. They had me at the extensive bakery counter. So many choices! The sandwiches are served on fresh bread, sliced on site and though the menu is not extensive, everything is fresh. The ladies at the counter were really friendly and helpful. I tried Hollander cake for the first time and I am hooked. My only drawback is there is no seating to eat in, but I sat by the lake across the street and enjoyed my sandwich. I reccomend picking up some fresh bread, pastries and getting a sandwich to go.
This place has the worst french toast and french fries ever!
Just kidding! This place is 5 stars plus! Everything I have tried is always fresh and delicious!
Wonderful old world values bakery with a modern flair! I love the savory breads and delectable desserts! The cakes are incredible! Moist and bursting with fresh flavors! One of my favorite pastries is the maple Danish! The strudel, streusel, and croissants are top notch!!
