The House of Blues is a cosy venue. Never to far from the stage, so excellent views of the bands. Our first visit took in Dirty Honey, Skillet and Alter Bridge. Dirty Honey were excellent and I'm sure they will go far.The acoustics were far better than I expected. Coming from the U.K. I don't understand the concept of having dinner whilst watching the bands. Maybe it is something to try. It seemed very popular.
Drinks are about the same price as most venues we visited on this tour. An enjoyable evening. Free parking helped.

An odd venue indeed. The acoustics are great but there are many obstructed views and almost no seating. I got there very early, like 90 minutes early, and figured I'd eat at the restaurant and have plenty of time. Wrong. We had reservations but didn't get seated for almost 30 minutes later. I told the waiter our intent and he said Great, spend 50 on dinner and you get priority seating. My son and I ate our dinner and asked for the check. I reminded him we were in a hurry. It took 15 minutes to get the check and by then, It was almost 10 after 7 when the doors open at 7. No priority at that point. By the time we got in, all the few seats were long gone and the only place we could find to stand had a pole right in the middle of our view. A majority of the audience stands down on the floor in a big mosh pit type configuration. And to top it off, the simple gin and tonic I ordered at the restaurant was one the waiter recommended. $17. If you go, skip the restaurant, get in line EARLY, and eat inside. The prices are not bad and you might get a seat or at least an unobstructed view.

Probably my favorite venue in Central Florida for bands. Not too big, not too small - you can get more personal with your band. I've had several times where guys from the band hung out at the bar and you could meet them informally.

Upstairs you have a really good view of the stage from the balcony. Downstairs is just as good. The place is rimmed with bars so even when packed, you can still get beverages. (keep in mind, they are expensive)

There is always a wait at the restrooms - which is expected - but at least they have shelves where I can rest my beer.

The sound is pretty good - not stadium quality - but good for the venue.

I've been to the Gospel Brunch but this was the first time we ate dinner at HOB. We were seated promptly. Claire was our server who was quick with the menus and taking drink orders. A lot of choices on the menu looked good. I got the shrimp and grits and they were great. Spiced nicely. They had hot sauce with a lot of heat after adding that they were perfect. My wife and the other couple had hamburgers with various toppings. Everyone was very satisfied with the food. It was tasty, piping hot, and fast. The service, exceeded the quality of the meal. Claire is a gem. She was there quickly with refills and taking away dishes at the right time. Claire was very attentive without interfering. When we go again we will be asking for Claire. If you find yourself there ask for Claire, you won't be disappointed.
