I was King Kamehameha with my fresh pineapple shell mixed drink! Our table of 5 each enjoyed trading delicious bites! Entrees superb, awesome desrts and our waitress was very personable and joyful! We will be back next Magical Vacation!
This place is just super ok. Disney prices, so the most basic sushi roll (the California) is $16. The cheddar burger came with a cheese disk twice the circumference of the burger itself, making it impossible to eat. The waiters are great, atmosphere nice but the food is absolutely fine for the crazy prices.
Kona Cafe is a wonderful little spot in one of my favorite Disney resorts. The atmosphere of the Poly is always relaxing and it extends into Kona Cafe.
Truth be told, these days I’m not too impressed with Kona’s lunch or dinner… but the breakfast is where it’s at. It’s one of the few spots on property that I actually enjoy breakfast at. Yes, the Tonga Toast is as good as everyone says it is. Seriously, go give it a try, love it, and then take a nap.
We ate at the sushi bar by the windows. Love this place. Food is superb. I don’t normally like Pot Stickers but the ones here are so good! The sampler plate is excellent as well. We finished with the tapioca desert which was great.
Kona has got to be one of my favorite food spots at Disney. Breakfast here is great and if you love coffee the Kona press pots will make your day. Dinner options are excellent as well. Serving sizes are almost large and we typically end up with more than we can eat. Service is consistently good. It's a fun spot to watch people coming and going from the monorail too for entertainment.
