Mecatos Bakery & Café

We have eaten there numerous times and have always been impressed. Everything from the food, the service, the cleanliness is outstanding...and the coffee is excellent. This is a family run business and they are very good at what they do!

This place is one of my favorite in downtown Orlando. It has delicious food and I love the outside area. Best spot for a coffee date. They have the best coffee in town!!

Super good food and real nice environment. I work downtown and am always hungry and this place has tons of less expensive food options and other more filling options. The staff is also super nice and friendly, definitely my favorite place downtown

I love this new downtown location. What a perfect spot to sip on a really good coffee and people watch. I’ve been a fan of Mecatos since 2016. Their coffee is the best in town and the pan de bono is the bomb. If it’s your first time then definitely order some pan de bonos, tequeños, empanadas, buñuelos...quesitos ( I could keep going hahah). Get a cup of cappuccino and try out their natural juices also... mango, lulo and guava are my favorite. Always so delicious and fresh!!! Go try it yourself...your belly will thank you.

Finally! This neighborhood was in desperate need for a place like this. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. The empanadas, cheesy breads, pastries, and coffee are on point. This week was just the soft opening, so with time I can see this place becoming a longtime staple. Happy to learn they are open on the weekends!
