Selam Ethiopian & Eritrean Cuisine

So good, we had lunch today and it was wonderful! Great portions and the food was so flavorful. They had a program on the TV about Ethiopian cuisine that was very interesting to watch while we waited for our food. Great options for my vegan son as well. My favorite Ethiopian restaurant in Orlando now!

The Chef and owner goes out of her way to accommodate. I was on a fairly restricted diet, but called ahead and the chef cooked to order accordingly. Beyond being flexible with her menu, all the staff checked in with me frequently and we’re quite attentive without being overbearing. The food was fantastic and environment relaxing. I was visiting Orlando, and returned for dinner each subsequent night of my visit. I would certainly return again and highly recommend it to those on a restricted diet (e.g. vegans), or those without diet restrictions.

The wait staff and owners are very warm and inviting. They were super excited to share their wonderful food with the people of the world their story with us, which was nothing less than the classic American dream. The food itself was absolutely delicious. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. It was served family style on a big platter, with lots of injera (flat bread). The babies loved the lentil soup, and the fresh roasted coffee at the end of the meal was to die for. So good that no cream or sugar was necessary.

I’ve had Ethiopian food before and this is far better. Fantastic food and service!!! Definitely try the beef key wet and the lentil samosas. The sauce on the side is really great too. Would definitely return. The prices are very reasonable and the meat and veggie combo is the exact right amount of food for two people. It’s a great way to try a variety of things. The best place we ate at during our trip. Honestly, the hospitality was far beyond our expectations ????

Delicious, delicious food. Amazing service. The coffee was the perfect ending to our meal. The Atmosphere was invigorating and an experience for the senses. The owners were extremely welcoming and our server was so helpful and was happy to answer all our questions about Ethiopian cuisine. I will definitely be dining here again.
