Stonington's Fried Shrimp

So my girlfriend found this place on TikTok all the videos said this is the best friend shrimp in Orlando and hands down its true I would take the hour drive anytime and all the staff were amazing so if u want the best shrimp this is the spot

Oh. My. Goodness!!! This place is absolutely delicious! I have lived literally across the street for almost 5 years and never had any interest in visiting. One day, while dining at another restaurant, a food critic encouraged me to try this place and I thought, really?? On the outside it doesn't look like much but man... The shrimp, so fresh and tasty! The breading was just right, not greasy at all, and that dipping sauce...FIRE!! Not to mention that decadent cornbread which I could have easily eaten a whole loaf of! And the mac and cheese...??? I could go on and on but you definitely have to get this place a try! The staff was friendly, and they were playing some awesome smooth jazz music as I entered. Disappointed that I waited so long but excited that I found a true gem within walking distance!!!

Breading wasn't fully cooked. Had to take shrimp home and fry a little then it was all good. Sorry but first impressions are lasting so I more than likely won't be going back.

Shrimp is deveined, cleaned, and cooked fresh. However, the seasoning of the shrimp is hit or miss. The pricing of the food is ok but they should offer larger portions of food. The mac & cheese and cornbread is okay. The onion rings and fries are disgusting! It’s an okay restaurant if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch.

I LOVED my shrimp platter with fries and coke slaw!!???? The Shrimp we’re perfect, delicious and fresh!! The fries were also cooked to perfection and I did not need to put salt on them. The coke slaw was great, fresh and juicy!

My husband had crab cakes, red beans with rice and cornbread. He enjoyed the food but just thought the crab cakes could have been bigger so he loved them!????

The service was great, the prices great, and it was very clean. There is indoor and outdoor seating as well takeout.

I would have rated my experience a 5 star but due to the poor lighting inside the dining area I couldn’t. It’s pretty dark even with the natural lighting from the large glass front.

Most definitely would go back and definitely do recommend to others! The food is excellent!!????
