Oishii! Finally, a legit Japanese Restaurant here in Orlando. I lived in Japan for 11 years and since moving back we haven’t been able to find a restaurant that truly reminded us of our time in Nippon... until we found Sushi Tomi. Ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry, a true comfort food for anyone who has lived in Japan - Amazing. Also ordered eel, tuna, and shrimp tempura sushi. The kabocha and purple sweet potato tempura were delicious. I don’t like most desserts because they are too sweet but the Sushi Tomi desserts were fabulous and true to real Japanese-style desserts in that they were not too sweet.
Very traditional Japanese style Restaurant. The servers wear kimonos and greet you in their native language as you enter. I ordered the beef teriyaki and tempura combination. It didn't disappoint. It comes with miso soup and salad. The ginger ice cream was creamy and smooth...delicious!????????????
I was in Orlando for a short work trip and just wanted some sushi. Found this place on yelp and decided to try it out.
Food was amazing! While I didn’t have high expectations, it was definitely great. Fish was meaty and fresh, and rice tasted great both texture and temperature.
People were friendly and noticed that they had many regulars in the restaurant.
If I’m ever in the area, I’m definitely stopping by again. Don’t let the location and outside fool you!
I love it here! The food is so good!! I love the waitress staff they are so nice and friendly and they where beautiful kimono!
Sushi was great! Fresh, fast, very friendly!
It is cozy inside, but nothing fancy.
Will be great for takeout or lunch.
Even on Thursday at 12pm it was barely any space to sit down and a lot of people coming to get to-go meals.
We also notices that this is truly authentic Japanese restaurant, since half of people in there were Japanese, that really makes you think the place does a great job!
