Very good tamales. They have a lot of protein inside which is what keeps me coming back here.
This place is amazing. Enticing menu, beautiful presentation, superb flavors, attentive service. We'll be back!
Life altering. My stomach and my soul were just fed. Amazing vegan primavera tamale!
Jeremy was over the top helpful! You guys definitely have it going on!
Thank you ????!
This place has been on my list to try for a while and I finally made it in. You can find Tamale Co. in the same building as Foxtail coffee along with a couple of other spots inside. There wasn’t a line when we arrived, so we headed up to the counter. The nice young woman behind the counter greeted us, gave us a menu, and invited us to feel free to ask any questions. I ordered the chorizo tamales with double rice in place of refried beans. My boyfriend ordered one chicken and one pork tamale with rice and beans. I got water to drink and liked that they give you a carafe of cold water so you have plenty.
After a short wait, another friendly employee brought our meals out. I saw mine had pickled onions on the top which I hadn’t seen in the menu description, but luckily they were easy to pick off and I know to double check next time. The tamales are absolutely delicious! They are large and full of fresh ingredients and have lots of flavor. I loved the chorizo and was happy it wasn’t too spicy for my wimpy palate. My boyfriend liked his pork tamale, but didn’t love the chicken so I traded one of my chorizo tamales for his chicken and he enjoyed it. I did like the chicken as well, but the chorizo and my taste of his pork were my favorites. The rice was really good as well. The tamales are quite filling and I ended up with leftovers I’m excited to enjoy.
This is an A+ spot in my book and I look forward to coming back!
Nice yummy hidden gem. Drive by our all the time and never knew it was there. Glad i found it!
