Taste of Chengdu 成都味道

I've been to the original location and was impressed. At this new Baldwin Park location, I was floored. Everything was perfect. Ambience. Service. The food. In no particular order. I frequent area restaurants, and this place is a great fit for Baldwin. I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

Amazing food at both locations, Baldwin park is in a nicer area with a lot of shops and other things to do. Outdoor seating available. This is no American Chinese food, this is specific to that region. Authentic use of Sichuan peppers that make your mouth tingly so don't mistake that for an allergy! I like spicy but did ask them to make it milder when able and I enjoyed it more.

This place is amazing! I love the atmosphere and decor. The staff is very friendly and even helped me decide between a few dishes. In the end I got the Crispy Beef which was VERY good. Perhaps a bit pricy for $19, but the flavor and experience made it worth. It had $20 quality.

This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. If you go in expecting typical American Chinese food with items such as chicken chow mein, egg drop soup, and friend egg rolls do yourself a favor and try a different spot.

This place is outstanding and out of its league.

We've been regulars at the original location since it opened and have never been dissatisfied with the quality of service and food.

Go and look for yourself.

The menu at this location is phenomal as new items have been added and others remain from the original location.

This time we ordered the octopus appetizer, and for the main meal our typical mix vegetable dry wok, the eggplant with garlic sauce, and saluted fish in chili oil.

One word comes to mind MAGNIFICENT!
