Taverna Opa Orlando

Strong strong atmosphere. Dining was a party like atmosphere. Makes it really cool. Decent to Good food. I wouldn't say amazing but I am a really hard judge on food. The Russian judge looks at me and says lighten up. ;)

Made it for happy hour and wow! 2-4-1 drinks they are so delicious! But the topper was the hummus. Omg absolutely fantastic per usual. They give you pita bread with the hummus which you can really just eat on your own and not share so you may want to get several depending how many people are with you. The meat balls are okay. I wish they had them with lamb instead and that would have been perfect! Over all a great happy hour experience.

I went to this restaurant for dinner after I attended a convention nearby. The service and food were both excellent. We even had live entertainment (belly dancing)! The price for my meal and the portions were incredibly fair considering this is a tourist area and the restaurant could charge almost any amount. I would definitely frequent this restaurant on a regular basis if it was away from the tourist area of Orlando.

This place is amazing 🤩 I’ve been to Greece twice. This food reminds me so much of a woman who took me and my family in while we were caught in the rain in Athens. She dried our clothes and fed all 8 of us. There is nothing like the beautiful country of Greece... just like there is nothing I’ve been able to find in this country that compares to the authenticity and love that woman gave to us. We will ALWAYS return to the restaurant when we visit Florida AND when we move here, we will be regulars! Extremely family friendly and a must go experience. I’ve heard the belly dancers at 7 PM are awesome too! 😄 ENJOY and you are so welcome for this tip! You will not regret or forget!
