The Meatball Stoppe

Amazing food and desserts. Loved there vegetarian and crab meatballs, polenta was delicious as was there white chocolate cake. The owners and pastry chef were sitting near us brainstorming ideas. All 3 super sweet, especially the wife. You must stop here; you won't be disappointed.

If I could give them 10 stars I will defenitely do it!!!! Great customer service but it is not just their charismatic service. It is the best Italian food I ever tasted. It is a family restaurant, with a great home made taste. I don't have words to describe it. You have to try it!!!

Let me start by saying that the staff was EXTREMELY accommodating for me as a vegan. Two different staff members talked me through the menu and my options which was great. The interior was clean, modern, and very nice.

Unfortunately, the majority of my options were not available which was weird because I was 30 minutes before lunch rush so it is not like the day rush cleared us out. Just not the best planning for ingredient ordering. Also, the food took quite a while to come out. Again, I was only one of three people at the restaurant and the food took almost a half hour. Normally I do not mind waiting, but this was a no-go order and lunch which one tends to expect a bit quicker than dinner.

I ordered the vegan "meat" balls as they should be what the place should be known for with some spaghetti primavera. Unfortunately, the entire dish was drenched in oil and had little flavor. The veggie ball was pretty good and may have been great with some awesome marinara and grilled veggies with the pasta. The rest of the day, I could just feel the oil sitting in my stomach and mouth. As per most of my non 4 or 5 star reviews, I am sure this type of food is loved by many, just not for those of us who prefer lighter, healthier food.

Staff is kind and friendly. Restaurant and clean and inviting- a nice place to get together with friends or family. And the food is amazing. The meatballs of course fabulous but also the salads too and the deserts are to die for. Sub sandwiches, pasta- it’s much more than just meatballs. Definitely a gem to find.
