The Monroe

The food has always been good; a few items could be better (ie, more flavor). I've been here at least 8 times now. I hope the coffee bar returns with craft/specialty iced coffee drinks -- they used to have them and then they were removed from the menu. Now all the specialty drinks are only teas, therefore rendering the Monroe no longer a good coffee spot with colleagues, which sucks since The Monroe is downtown and offering one of the few nice places on this side of I-4. I won't remove a star for that, but the lack of specialty coffee drinks certainly impacts my reasons to come here in the future. They have a great environment which is why I enjoyed bringing new people I've just met to come here to sit and sip coffee on the couches.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place last minute during our vacation, it was super easy and laid back getting a reservation. Our entire experience was wonderful. The food was absolutely fabulous! The environment was cozy and adorable! Our server, Hannah, was lovely and an absolute delight! Beyond happy with our entire experience!

Good atmosphere and great vibes. Good place to spend with your classmates. I liked the wedges and they were the best things there! Service was fast and we were seated right away and the food came in 15 minutes. I believe the food needs improvement such as flavor wise, creativity is superb. Also good location to walk around and it’ll be nice to have the park in a few! Come and try it , hope you have a good experience!

Beautiful restaurant with a classy casual atmosphere. The drinks were great, the service was good and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Chicken Sandwich with Potato Wedges, All excellent . I also ordered the Mac and Cheese which was super good. I definitely will be back soon. I highly recommend this place if you want to have an enjoyable time. Bravo!
