We tried this casual hidden gem Saturday looking to support a small business, OK, and I miss NY pizza. I walked in and could smell it in the air. Being a native New Yorker I braced myself for disappointment. We ordered a large Greek Salad that was fresh and fabulous. Then IT came! From the first bite I thought I was transported back to the city. It was REAL pizza.The sauce was old country Italian and the chesse was not garbage . I am SO excited to find REAL NY pizza in Orlando. Come to find out the chef is from Italy. We are anxious to return Father's Day for Veal Marsala and Eggplant Parmesan ! This is the Real Deal! Go!! Run..go!!?❤

First and foremost, Holly Doe! The chef isn’t just your typical pizzeria chef; he is an Italian artist and magician who transforms plain doe into delicious masterpieces.

It’s definitely worth noting that this pizzeria just reopened under new ownership and with a new head chef, so this review is in regard to the new ownership and chef.

Food: being our first time trying this place out, we ordered two appetizers, 4 pizzas, wings, and cannolis. One of the appetizers we ordered was bruschetta, which was out of this world! The bread was soft without being soggy, had a just noticeable hint of olive oil taste, and the perfect amount of toppings that, together, seemingly melted in your mouth. The garlic knots were also unique in that they weren’t overbearingly oily or butter; instead, they had just the right amount of buttery deliciousness combined with just the right amount of garlic and other seasonings. The marinara sauce was also excellent and really tasted fresh. All 4 pizzas had an incredible amount of flavor without being overwhelmed with copious amounts of toppings, which kept the pizza crust and dough from becoming soggy and flaccid. The dough had an ideal texture that really helped to complement the pizza and maintain its integrity. As for the wings, I wasn’t expecting much; however, I was shook by how delicious and tender they were! They weren’t rubbery and they had the perfect amount of crispiness to complement the flavor.

Drinks: since we arrived before our food was ready to be picked up, we decided to try their house wine, which is imported from Italy. Now I’m no wine expert, but this wine was so smooth, full-bodied, and very flavorful.

Environment: the restaurant is extremely clean and well-kept, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the layout and color scheme provide for a warm and welcoming feeling. It truly feels like a family-owned ‘mom and pop’ type of pizzeria, as the staff/owners express to their customers how grateful they are for their business.

HANDS DOWN, this is the BEST pizza I have had!!
