The food was pretty good, the portions were fine (a little light on the meats), and the staff were courteous and obviously trying to do their best.

However.

It took more than 90 minutes for my order to be filled, when it had been estimated to take 45-55 minutes. I also got an automated text message saying that my food was ready well before that was true.

There were about 10 take out orders waiting including myself. Many of them left without their food, some cancelled their orders, and one person said that he needed to leave with what was prepared as of that moment. The only reason that I hadn’t given up was that I’d prepaid for my $100+tip dinner online.

The food that I’d requested at a medium spiciness was what I expected. The food ordered at mild was also about a medium spice, meaning my family couldn’t eat most of it.

The Chili Chicken is listed as an appetizer, but is served like an entree, but portioned like an appetizer. Please make it either an appetizer or an entree.

I hope that these are just growing pains, and that they can fix their problems. I’m happy that Windermere finally has an Indian/Pakistani restaurant. I’m willing to give them a chance later, but the rest of my family is going to be reluctant. Our next orders will be much smaller until competence is shown.

Fantastic food! We came for lunch and their lunch specials are the perfect portion and allow you to try a few different things! We had the lamb madras (coconut creamy) and lamb sagg which was savory wonderful. I love spicy food and found their medium to be a little on the mild side, but the flavors and wonderful. Great customer service and tables turned over fast! We will be back!

The food was AMAZING as was the service. Everyone was working very hard to make sure all the tables were taken care of and happy. We will definitely be back. My husband ordered a soup that he loved. As a vegetarian I loved all the vegetable options! I ordered the chickpea masala and it was excellent. Everything is made fresh to order and at the spice level you request. Great experience!

Amazing restaurant! If you’re looking for authentic Indian food done right, this is it. Great ambiance and staff. Best naan and butter chicken we’ve ever had. Food quality and portions are spot on and you can taste it in every bite. Naan Stop is our once a week must have.

Was hungry and hadn’t had Indian in a very long time. Stopped in for take-out. Friendly staff. REALLY tasty good food. Very mild for Indian that I’m used to, yet the flavor was still there. Next time I’ll make sure to ask for southern India medium spicy. The goat curry was excellent. Watch for the bones, which is normal for goat stews of any kind. So yummy. We are going back again. I never would have thought a corner, fast-food looking place would be this good. But it is. Check them out.
