The Big Easy - Winter Garden | New Orleans Home Cookin'

Since most of the restaurants were closed on Memorial Day, we decided to visit this establishment on our way to our friends house. The food was pleasantly good considering I’ve visited Nola several times from work. This place is definitely close to the real deal. The po-boy was delicious and the bread had a nice soft texture. The hush puppies came out fresh and pipping hot with a nice spicy cream sauce. My red beans and rice was good, could have used a bit more spices but still decent. The drinks and desserts looked good. I would definitely go back when I am in the area.

Cajun food and the setting at this spot is excellent. Excellent spot to spend time alone or talk business. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. Bring your appetite because portions are generous.

Came in for dinner with my grandparents and the food was amazing! Staff was very friendly, and while there was a wait we did not mind at all, and we were allowed to sit at the bar and still get drinks while we waited for a table. It was well worth the wait. The staff did a great job at handling themselves with unpleasant customers as well and I applaud the service. Keep doing great!

It is always a great treat to enjoy a meal here. We love the open air feeling when they open all of the walls on a gorgeous day and the food and service were awesome. My wife tried their ribs for the first time and of course I had to try some of hers because they looked delicious. They were! There are a few things that I really have a hard time finding that rival what I grew up with and I usually get disappointed with ribs. These were not disappointing at all. I ordered the Cajun pasta and it was very delicious as well.

The food and service were simply first class. The seafood sampler was great. Fresh, flavorful and perfectly fried. The shrimp and grits were out of this world.
