Fantastic Just fantastic... I really enjoyed my meal here. Service was great, Dorothy was really nice and happy to explain things as I am a bit of a noob when it comes to polish cuisine.. unfortunately we were just too full to try the strudel, but next time we will. The hunter Stew was fantastic the potato pancakes we're really amazing.
A gem in this small business park! We had the Polish trio to start. The meat in the pierogies was seasoned just right, the other one was cheese, sausage is made in house and had sweet caramelized onions, super flavorful!! lastly the pancakes were deliciously crispy. For drinks we split two of the German beers which were light and not to hoppy. Their strong beers though and am glad we didn't have one of each, a piece. My entree was the stuffed cabbage with mashed potatoes and tomato sauce. Wow! Dense, flavorful and filling! The hubby had the hunters stew. I tried a bite of it and was blown away. Amazing flavors that came together to satisfy! It looks like a mushy mess but don't be fooled by the looks of it. It's worth having. I can't wait for our next visit and try something different on the menu! Dorothy was our server and a pleasure to speak with. Definitely recommend!!!
Anna's polish deli is a treat, authentic polish food made with love. I will warn you, this is not fast service, you will wait as they take time to make all the dishes fresh. They can get packed in the evenings and you might wait 45-60 minutes for your food, they do bring out wonderful bread as an appetizer though. If you're looking for potatoes done right, this is your place.
What a delightful find! Privately owned. Wonderful, authentic food. Don't trust the closed sign on the door if it's during business hours, they may have forgotten to turn it around. We've forgone visiting here several times because the sign said closed. Today I got out of the car and double checked and it was indeed open. So glad we finally tried the place.
Passed this place so many times tucked away along a busy stretch of Aloma in a 2 story strip mall. Very happy that I finally had a meal there. There were lots of good choices on the menu. The sampler was perfect for a first visit. The service was very friendly. It's a great place to go to share leisurely meal. A real neighborhood gem!!
