The food I had was good. The menu has a lot of healthy natural foods, but I find I need to have non-dairy milks and spreads (so no butter and no cow milk) and there was no non-dairy option for either, which surprised me with that menu. At first I really wanted a tea and waited longer than I expected, and there was no water offered, though I saw others getting pitchers of water. I would try it again because the food was good, but I have to say there were those couple of disappointments this first visit.
This place is ABSOLUTELY amazing. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service matches the food, simply wonderful. My one must have is their Kale Tonic. It is crisp, cold and refreshing. It reminds me of biting into a sweet and tangy granny smith apple for the first time.
Good location, good food, and great service. The staff here is always super friends and attentive. When they are busy, the wait time moves along quite well and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating space while you wait. The breakfast juices and food are great, however I don't care much for their coffee. It's not terrible, just not a fan of the taste. Out of the many Central Florida locations, I highly recommend this one.
I've been going to First Watch for years, originally to the Maitland location and now to the Winter Park location on Aloma. I typically have breakfast there which never disappoints - their standard options are always consistent and fresh. As a party of 1 or 2 I really appreciate their "community table" which seats either 8 or 10 and is supposed to be used by singles or small parties. The last time I was there a large party had taken up all of the spaces. I really don't think they should have been seated at that table. Power to the Parties of 1 or 2!
Servers and managers are terrific, my only negative that keeps it from being a 5 star is that there aren't many changes made to supplement the standard menu. Small additions are made, mostly drinks, but another few would enhance the experience. Still, a terrific place to go - I am there at least once a week for breakfast.
The last review I left for a First Watch was not very good but this one deserves an upgrade. As a vegan, this is a difficult place to find options but an exceptional server and his manager worked hard to find a dish to accommodate. I truly appreciate the extra attention to my order and the food was delicious. I modified the vegetable burger by eliminating the cheese and sauces and replacing the bread with a wrap. Even without the sauce, it had really good flavor! Oh, I'm not find of cold wraps so I also ordered it pressed which gave the wrap a nice crunch!
