Steak 'n Shake

The food has always been amazing when I go there. Same with the staff. They have always been friendly and polite. I love the Winter Park location, and I'm a very happy customer from the minute I walk in to the minute I walk out.

After visiting the newly-opened Freddy's last week near our home we were so disappointed with their food quality and their high prices we drove 30 minutes to this Steak 'n Shake to get the food quality we have come to expect from Steak 'n Shake. We weren't disappointed; the food was served quickly; was hot and delicious; and served on dishes and not in a plastic basket. The hot fudge brownie sundae was superb to finish off our meal and the price paid was approximately half of what was paid at Freddy's for a comparable meal. Thank you!

Over the years the service here has never been consistent, but in the recent months, that's changed. You've got a few long-time associates, and a few who've been around for a few years which has helped a lot. A regular friendly face goes a long way toward a good experience.

Favorite item: Taco Salad. Yes, at a burger place. They just do it right.

You can't go wrong with a Frisco Melt and Shake either.

Sometimes an expected slow night can see an unusual rush, leaving you wondering where did all these people come from?

Drive-thru can be sluggish at times, but know that it's worth the wait for accurately prepared orders.

Great meal for $4. Cole slaw, big double burger, fries and dessert cookie all for just $4. Loved our waitress. Very efficient and friendly. Can't wait to go back!
