The Axe Trap

My husband and I love this place! Great fun with friends every time.

Yeah yeah axes are great...come here...FOR THE COCKTAILS. They have a great bar menu, with a happy hour, and women's night. We probably tried all the craft cocktails and really there wasn't one that I didn't like. The bar staff is knowledgeable and the tinker with different potions to make great cocktails. Try one or more. The location is beautiful and bright. They do have an outdoor area and throws backs to the properties previous use. Good amount of parking. Now back to axes...great staff on the Axe end knowledgeable and helpful as well to those first timers. So fun. Look at the photos it is a great place to stop by.

I really liked the venue and the Axe throwing. Viking looking guy who showed us how to throw axes was super nice. Folks at the bar were nice too. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, it was good. The one star is because of a rather distasteful incident we had with one of their staff, seems like the other Axe throwing instructor (short dark hair and glasses). We had a team event and the guy very rudely bounced us off our lane as we were standing up and walking towards a table away from the Axe throwing lanes. He even snatched the Axe from someone in our party while stating "time is up, game's over". He was so rude we thought he was actually joking. I get that our time was up (by like, 4 minutes), but that was a little much, it's not like we were just sitting there refusing to leave . Anyway, our small gathering was thrown off by that and we decided to go somewhere else to finish our evening. You will have a great time as long as you don't get that rude guy as an instructor.

We had an absolutely amazing experience! The staff was so friendly and informative. The bartenders & the instructor made us feel like we were visiting friends. The atmosphere is great, not just for axe throwing. The good was great. They have a great bar & great lounge areas, and even coffee! I look forward to returning.

What a cool place! Axe throwing is fun of course and they have experts on hand to help you. But in addition to that the bar and lounge are super ambient with tasty food and craft cocktails. Can't wait to go back.
