Sat at the bar the first tender took time to getting to us as she just chatting to what appeared to be a regular. She gave us food menus then left and when she reappeared she asked what we wanted, she had not given us a drink menu and since it was our first time there I would have liked to see. Thrown the menu and she never came back, obviously she didn't want us we had another girl come over, very friendly took our full order and put everything in. Very prompt after that had to wait for the strawberry puree for the drink because they made new puree. Great drinks and food we will be back and hopefully not have that first bartender.
Very cool bar. Great drink and food specials. The service was friendly and attentive. The wings are amazing! Crispy wing perfection tossed in your choice of sauce. The Porch is The Place to go for wings in Winter Park.
Place was fairly busy. Maybe a half dozen empty tables.
The Hostess sat us promptly and delivered menus.
3 different servers walked past our table, each seemed annoyed that we were sat in the patio section (we didn’t ask to be sat there)
Took 15-20 minutes for our server to come by and take our orders. She seemed new and unfamiliar with the menu.
Food was delivered 30 minutes later, still hadn’t gotten our drinks. Had to go to the bar and the bar tender was nice enough to make them for us.
(Still left a 20% tip as servers don’t make very good money)
Overall the food quality was great, drinks were good, and place was enjoyable.
Communication between staff members seems to be the short comings. Overloading a new hire and not being supportive is just bad business.
Good food and service.... Location is a little bland and beer selection holds it back from five stars. It would be cool if they offered more local selections of craft beer. On the plus side, staff is super nice and order came out exactly like I asked. I highly recommend, if you are getting the "Pig Master" sandwich to ask that they put in on the pressed Hawaiian bread.
