Umi Japanese Restaurant

I went for lunch today and it was amazing. The food was incredible and the service was outstanding. I will be back soon.

Food was excellent. Met the owner. Nice atmosphere. I will go there more often.

The owner is very personable and the menu items are incredibly good (Ben's roll, the whole squid, the braised pork belly).

An amazing sushi place. Not just good food, also a good experience. The owner came by and made sure we had everything and that we enjoyed all of it. We got to sample a roll. Amazing place. Wish I could give it more stars.

It has been a while since we went and we were pleasantly surprised. No wonder they have been open four years. They have a great atmosphere, great staff and great food. The ceiling tiles are a must see. The pictures do not do them justice. It creates a calming environment filled with wonder. Even the simple dishes, like the edamame, stand out because of the extra touches like truffles and salt. They were very mindful of allergies and were able to make the sushi requested without egg. The sushi with mushrooms on top was definitely the highlight of our sushi experiences. The meat was well cooked and tender, the mushrooms were succulent. It was nice to have a good meal and not feel uncomfortable.
Last but not least, we booked ahead and mentioned my Daughter’s autism. They were able to accommodate us and made her feel right at home. Can’t wait to visit again!
