4 Rivers Smokehouse

First time here and tried three meats,
The pulled chicken sandwich, excellent,
The burnt ends as a side dish, excellent,
The turkey as a side dish ????just good,
The barbecue sauce, hot and regular, very tasty very good.
They were out of corn!!! ???? I have to come back. ????
Overall very good, not as good as Rudy’s of Texas, but I loved it! Oh and Rudy’s doesn’t have burnt ends.
Will definitely be back for more????

Love eating just about everything at 4 Rivers. Also, very clean cut servers and tables. We would come here more often if not for the $4 round trip toll on the Parkway. Hopefully one will open off I-4 soon.

Depending on the time of day you can be waiting in a line that goes out the front door like I was BUT the food was totally worth it!! Everything was delicious except for the M&C that was like something from an elementary school cafeteria... watery and flavorless. That's why I gave this place a 4 star and not a 5 star. Other than that the BBQ meats and the beans were outstanding. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

The story behind how this restaurant got its start is very touching, definitely should read about it...but let's talk about my visit there. Very nice atmosphere when you walk in, although like many modern restaurants also very noisy to someone who has hearing aids due to the openness of the ceilings. It creates sort of an echo effect and amplifies the sounds. My issue not theirs...Next we went up to the counter and notice several very delicious looking plates going down the line. We made our selections, and my husband immediately got his, however I was told mine would be out in a few minutes. Unfortunately it took a bit before mine came out, I had already finished my baked beans, which were wonderful, because I was so hungry. By the time I finally got mine my husband was already almost completely done eating. And then they didn't bring the whole order. You would think I am writing a scathing review, but to the contrary, the young lady, Jackie, was truly apologetic, and offered us free dessert for the issues and you could see she was sincere! Nice recovery, Jackie!!! Food was delicious and BBQ sauce is excellent!!!

Get your brisket any way you like it! Moist or lean. Great fast bbq place that's always a hit! Amazing fried okra! Great mac! The hot sauce is the way to go! Pulled pork is delicious! I'm not a big fan of the baked beans.
