Visited on a Friday night. Pizza was heaven. I didn’t realize the difference it could make on a crust by cooking in a wood-fired oven. My 16 year-old rated his fettuccine alfredo as one of the best he’s ever eaten (and since it’s what he usually orders everywhere, he’s tried over 30). Atmosphere was very cool. Loved the indoor/outdoor bar. Hubby and I will be back just for drinks. Well done!
Delicious, coal fired pizza. I ordered a medium pizza for 2 people and when I took my first bite, I was in heaven. The sauce, the cheese, the toppings, the coal fired taste. All I could say was, please make me a second pie and consider this my second visit. As if two pizzas wasn't enough. My waiter Sal, convinced me they had excellent pasta that's handmade from scratch daily. He described the Alfredo and the pasta with such passion that I said, I'll take one too. The pasta didn't let me down either. The Alfredo was not too thick and not too saucy. Just the perfect consistency that sticks to the pasta. Speaking of the pasta. I've never had freshly made pasta. It's a whole new taste sensation when it's fresh. Try it for yourself and thank me later.
We had a total of 8 (3 adults, 2 teens, and 3 kids between 2 and 10). The waitress was extremely accommodating of us trying to figure out what we wanted and how much food to order.
We ended up ordering a salad, a large order of wings, and 2 16" pies. The salad came out promptly closely followed by the wings.
The wings were plated with some rosemary garnish and looked great. They were juicy, but not greasy. They were a little salty, though.
While we waited for the pizzas, our waitress brought out some "kids dough" for the kiddos. They were little balls of pizza dough for the kids to mash and play with.
The pizzas came out shortly after that. The dough had a good flavor. The sauce was good and the toppings seemed fresh. The pepperoni pizza was not overly greasy as tends to happen at some places.
