2nd Street Deli and Bagels

Best kept secret in Boca, family owned, always a smile, and great food. We have repeatedly come here for 3-4 months since they opened. They are consistent. Our favorite new breakfast spot.

Went there for a take-out deli sandwich and it was good, but could use some improvement, IMO. First the good:
~ the people who helped me were very nice
~ ordered a real turkey sandwich hero (sub for you southerners 😊) lettuce, tomato, mayo, salt and pepper. Sandwich contents was excellent!
Now for the not-so-great:
~ I thought the bread was weak. No character. Couldn't tell the crust from the inside. I suggest the owner check out the hero bread at V&S Deli up the road. Excellent.
~ the side macaroni salad was a bit too sweet for me, and I didn't get a fork
~ it's a little pricey, especially the can of A&W soda I purchased for $2.45

Overall, it was a good sandwich that satisfied my appetite but, going forward, I think the bread was a deal killer for me.

Bagel and soup order. The toasted everything bagel, cream cheese, lox and tomato is delicious - just enough of everything. Can't wait to try my matzo ball soup! Thank you!

Classic deli menu with a large variety of products. I can honestly recommend every sandwich there but the turkey bacon club is my favorite. Their bagels are fresh and they have a variety of toppings for them. Can't go wrong with this local spot. Big shoutout to Brandon for being awesome and making sure I was taken care of.

This place is the greatest thing added to east Boca! I love to get takeout breakfast and they pack everything up so nice where it's all still hot when I get home. Their salads are excellent, too. It's also a nice place to sit and eat. Fair warning, the black and white cookies and all white cookies are dangerously good!
