Max's Grille

A great place to sit outside and enjoy the ambiance of Mizner Park. I had an espresso martini, which what was not overwhelmingly strong like other espresso martinis I’ve had at other bars, it was well balanced and super delish! We shared the spinach dip, brussel sprouts (we had order a second one it was so good!), and their lettuce cups. They’re very dog friendly, they got my little guy water and a side of chicken! We had a great evening there and our server was wonderful (though we did sit for ten minutes before being greeted, the only issue we had).

Great food, cocktails and service! Max’s grille never disappoints! Perfect location for a great happy hour.

Max's is always a great place to dine and/or have a cocktail. The decor and vibe is always mellow and very welcoming.

Last night we dined outside with our two small children, it was our youngest's birthday ... the server made such a big deal about it and made er feel very special. Our server, Bob was so great! Very kind, on top of his game, accommodating, knowledgeable and all together wonderful!

I had the Plant Based Spaghetti and Meatballs - it was incredible! My children had the Kids Pasta and Chicken Fingers Meal - they said it was the best they every had (from a kid, that is HUGE).

Well done, Max's! You fail to disappoint!

The food was good, but the service was sub par. We had reservations for a party of 4 at 7 pm. We got there right at 7 and asked to sit outside. It was a nice night. They showed us to our table, but we rejected that table, because it was right next to the street. They said we would have to wait 10 minutes or so for another outside table to open up. We opted for that. They took our cell phone number and said they would text us when our table was ready. No problem. Except they didn't text us for another 30 minutes. And when we responded, we were told that the party at our table was getting up, but then they say down again. So we had to wait another 10 for that table. They had a special corn and chicken chowder that looked good. We asked if it was spicy, and the server said it wasn't spicy at all. But it was spicy, so spicy that one of our party could not finish the soup. Then when the bill came, there was an extra charge on it for a drink that we didn't order and didn't get. The server explained that one of us ordered this drink but seconds later changed it to a different drink, and they forgot the take the first drink's order off the bill. This was discovered by us after they charged our credit card, so they had to take the credit card back and void the original bill and charge out s new bill. All in all, it wasn't a great experience. We probably won't go back.

As a vegan, I don’t find good delicious succulent options when eating out unless I go to a vegan restaurant, so thank you Max’s Grille! Can’t wait to try the BLT vegan burger next??
