Really good place. This is out of the ordinary and a great experience. You have a section of the menu that you can grill yourself on heated lava stones. The sauces they offer to put on the proteins are really good. The sides we tried were all very good as well. You can't go wrong trying this place out.
Awesome concept and a very cool environment. I've always been a fan of the post-apocalyptic theme, and now there's finally a place nearby that executed it (almost) flawlessly. Great food and unique, complex drinks. The wings are the biggest I've ever seen and the vigilante sauce is amazing. My only complaint is the lack of ventilation/circulation for the entrees where you cook on the lava rocks yourself.
First visit. Atmosphere outside is a 5. Lovely vibe with flame tables surrounding the perimeter. Very pretty and creative. The menu had a good variety, but everything we ordered seemed different than the description. Too much dairy for me and meat is their specialty according to the waiter. But for meat eaters probably quite a terrific experience!
Atmosphere inside is Mad Maxx. I didn't like the movie, don't care for the apocalypse theme. Outside is delightful!
Very unique decor, decent professional service, and all the good that we had was basic mall fare. They had some pricey menu items that were prepared/served table-side on Himalayan Salt Rocks and on Lava Rock, but we didn't order those. The banana/bread pudding was the stand out item at our table, though the "whole chicken wings" were also impressive and tasty. My cavatelli with wild mushrooms with have benefited greatly from substantially more mushrooms, but it wasn't bad.
If you are looking for a normal run of the mill bar, this isn't the bar for you. If you are looking for a totally unique experience with amazing food and equally as amazing food, this is the place for you.
Not only are the drinks and food fabulous, the atmosphere in this place is completely original. The post apocalyptic theme is incredibly fun and sets this place apart from others.
The service is as good as the decor. We had the pleasure of being served by Carter who took amazing care of us and filled us in on the lore of Rex Baron and his gang.
If you are in the area, and looking for a amazing and unique experience I cannot recommend Rex Baron enough!
