Ribs, pulled pork, and brisket are all delicious. I love all the sides and their sweet tea and sauces. If there's one critique I would give, it would be to reduce the sweetness of the baked beans. I love sweet baked beans, but I'm surprised to say that these are too sweet for me! Still love Troy's and highly recommend coming here.
Very elegant and accessible place. They serve large meals and for economical prices. We enjoyed the menu a lot and the waiters were very friendly and chatty. I recommend this place.
One of my favorite barbeque places of all time ! My boyfriend and I would drive to their other location at least once a week. Very happy they opened one in Boca ! The establishment is wonderful, loved how they chose to decorate it. Customer service is always excellent, every one of the staff members greet you as you walk in and leave the restaurant! Now the food is always amazing, meat is excellent quality and they never disappoint me. Some of my favorite is burnt end and brisket, I love their Mac & Cheese! Their baked beans and sweet potatoes are also something I constantly crave! If you have room try their
Banana Bread ! Come hungry the portions are big and filling.
I love BBQ. Real BBQ. I have tried about every BBQ place in South Florida and was never satisfied until I came to Troys. I have been twice so I know it's not a fluke. I tried The pork, chicken, brisket and ribs. Perfect amount of tenderness and smoke. The pit master is legit and even the sides were amazing. I am a huge fan of Mac and cheese and they nailed it. I also tried the potato salad and come slaw. Very good. Did I mention the corn bread? Oooooh! A little more cake like then the dry, crumbly bread I have had other places. It doesn't even need butter. Finally, the staff is super friendly and are very helpful. Prices are reasonable, expect about $20 a person but for the quality and quantity, its well worth every penny. I always have leftovers. Clean restaurant. Get there early before the run out of ribs.
Enjoyed the meal. Had brisket which was yummy. Collards and candied yams were my sides and both very satisfying. Corn bread was fluffy and tasty. Nice craft beer options. If any downside, its fairly costly for a BBQ joint, but they load you up with 2 meals worth of food.
