the cafe is now closed for renovations but they have been trying and the food is pretty good for what it is...service is good if you're nice to the staff. There are so many rude residence here who feel a sense of entitlement. Most of the issues at this place come from the customers. A little kindness goes a long way people, remember, this place is our last stop in life. Try to go at 1:30 or 2 for lunch when all the crabby people are done eating their lunch.
The cafe has had 3 different owners in the past 3 years. The present owner is trying hard to please the residents and their guests. The food is good. The menu is basic American fare with various ethnic choices such as Matzoh ball soup or gyros. Breakfast and lunch are served. One problem I find is there are always dirty dishes on tables for way too long. The cleanup staff is either short staffed or just lazy. Management should walk around and inspect what his employees are doing or not doing. Pricing is quite reasonable. Best fresh turkey burger ever.
Mediocre comfort food with same service. You go only as you are assessed for food as part of HOA dues.
Best Cafe food in town Coral Lakes Club is the luckiest group to have landed this vendor. Great Food at great prices
Abie & Mark are doing a great job of restoring the reputation of the Coral Café.
I LOVE the everyday specials. For breakfast I go with 2 eggs, oatmeal and a bagel with a pot of hot coffee. The lunch special is a small bowl of soup and half a sandwich. My recommendation is matzo ball soup and pastrami on toasted rye.
Matzo ball and chicken noodle are everyday staples. They also have a different soup rotating in as an option daily.
There is a varied menu of items, from salads, burgers and NY Jewish deli fare. The stuffed cabbage portion is quite generous, but too sweet for my taste.
The wait staff is warm and friendly. When I've ordered takeout, it'd been relatively fast, accurate and still hot when I've gotten it home.
I LOVE their matzo ball soup. Large ball and good chunks of chicken and veggies. But, sadly it isn't as consistent as I would like. Sometimes lacking in chicken with a fairly small ball. But mostly outstanding.
