Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food was good, service was stellar. Butter was soft, not frozen. Several servers were checking on coffee and refills, not just ours. We would love to take the manager back to Columbia, SC with us. She has done an excellent job here, I only wish ours was run so well.

This is our favorite breakfast joint. We only come here maybe twice a year since there’s always a long wait. This time we ordered to go and the guy in the phone said 15 minutes. We get there 15 min later and go inside to pickup. We waited another 20 minutes. My husband surmises that they don’t cook your order until you come in and pay at register first. It’s very possible because we waited a while plus the commute. If that’s the case, please be honest with customers over the phone so we can know the expectations. I give 4-star because of the excellent food but I didn’t like the extra long wait time.

We got the French toast with maple syrup, blackberry sauce, scrambled cheese eggs and bacon.

Great food and service. Food tastes as good as home cooking. Always a great experience when dining here. Love the Country Store too. Always find those "back in the day" items no longer available anywhere else. The classic rocking chairs are always a favorite of diners too. Wish they had more locations!

The service was fast friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty. Our server was always ready to fill our glass. I would recommend this place for some good home cooking. Reasonably priced too.

After living in Fl for 3 yrs I had still never been in a CB. On our way home from Disney there were signs all down the highway. I finally decided to give it a try. I loved the store... So many cute gift items. They said it would be 15mins... But it seemed much faster so we had to finish checking out the store after dinner. It seemed busy and it was a Sunday afternoon so I was surprised we got in quick. We ordered the fried chicken. Loved it. The service was pretty good. Our server was fast and kept our drinks full... But would be gone for awhile. The food came out after awhile... I am guessing it was just super busy because everyone was moving fast. The restaurant emptied out before we finished but as we were leaving it was getting packed again. I would go back.
