Good food. Could use better atmosphere

Based on my experience, the service varies from employee to employee. I come here regularly during the week on my lunch time and the service is usually great.

Our first time coming here and it was great! We were there on a Sunday night and it was pretty quiet. There was only one young man working in the front so he seated us and was our server. He was very friendly and patient in helping us navigate the menu and making sure we were getting what we wanted. I ordered Griot (fried pork) and he even asked me if I preferred it without the fat. :) The server did suggest that we get an appetizer (we had a table of 4) because the food could take a little longer. In additional to the griot, we had ordered curry goat and 2 orders of oxtail. We passed on the appetizer and assured him we would be fine. While it may have taken a little longer than other restaurants, it was obvious that each dish was made to order and fresh! It was worth the wait. The portions were excellent for the price! (Griot $10, Curry goat $14, Oxtail $16) We'll be back to try more items!
